We strive to make Canterbury Farm a place where everyone feels welcome. Although we have many different breeds of horses and riding styles, all boarders at Canterbury Farm practice natural horsemanship. It is our belief that natural horsemanship is not only a great way to foster an incredible relationship with our horses but also with each other, creating a special sense of community. We aim to create a peaceful environment and believe in treating all people and horses with love and respect.
At Canterbury Farm, we have many amenities for the horse and rider. We have a beautiful brand new twelve-stall barn with a fourteen foot center aisle, Nelson automatic waterers in each stall, a wash stall with warm water, heated tack room and bathroom, recreation room, and feed room and outside windows in most of the stalls.
For training purposes we have a 60 foot round pen, a 200′ x80′ riding arena with wooden fencing and many training obstacles, jumps, and other training tools. Canterbury Farm’s fifty acres provide a fantastic training ground for trail-riding. There is a creek, a steep hillside trail through the trees, wide-open fields, and plenty of cows on the neighbors’ pasture. We have numerous pasture divides and four separate run-ins sheds.
